"Restriction missing" when running the purge injector HPLC
Dear friends,
Today i observed "Restriction missing" when running the purge injector on Alliance 2695 HPLC system. I connected column and with the column i m getting 2000 pressure with 1.5ml/min flow.I done Several times purge injector by enabling compression check. problem is still persists.
could you please give some guidance in order to resolve it?

Compression checks require a column or a back pressure regulator. You need more than 2000psi, so get a similar column with smaller packed particles or add another column.0

Dan - Thanks for your response but I'm afraid it is not quite accurate. The compression check requires a back pressure of at least 500 psi but there is some evidence that pressures above 2000 psi can cause an issue.
