What means Purity (Component) in Review tab?
Hi all,
Thanks.
What means Purity (Component) in Review tab and what is the default calculation? I didn’t find in Empower help.
Thanks.

Its where you enter the purity of your standard used for quantitation. Typically you enter the standard weight into the "Value" tab of the component editor. Empower then calculates concentration by multiplying standard weight by the purity (as a %) to get concentration. But many companies already calculate the final concentration of the standard and enter this value into "Value" so that no further need for Purity or Sampleweight/Dilution columns are required. It depends on your company and SOPs.0

Dear @Empower2019,
I though was this but, as you can see in figure I have different values. The value in component tab of the STD is 100.4 and the purity in the review tab is 100. I continue don’t understand this field.
Thanks for your atention.

Empower divides whatever value you enter into Purity by 100 during its calculation so if the purity of your standard is 99.7, enter 99.7 in Purity and then Empower sees this value as 0.997 as it multiplies whatever you have in Value by 0.997.
If you leave Purity blank, Empower bypasses it.0
