We are planning to reboot the lace on every sunday using task scheduler to improve the performance of the LACE. How to skip this task, if sample set is running?
Assuming this is a local task added to the node's task library: Find it in the task scheduler library, right click on it and disable it.
Go back and re-enable it after it has been skipped.
If this is something setup in AD, you'll need a hand from someone who has sufficient priviledge and knows their way around AD...
Personally, I tend to reboot them less often than weekly. If left to me, I use a batch file run from a client PC to reboot them all whenever I'm certain there are no runs in progress (typically, first thing Mon or Tues AM after a holiday weekend or on a Friday afternoon if it happens that nobody is running).
