The exact same way you wash any other LC column - Start with the weakest (most aqueous in RP mode or most organic in NP mode) MP absent any salts, then use the stronger MP (if more than one or weak MP is less than 5% organic) to flush and store, assuming you don't have some weird GPC/Chiral/SEC/strange substrate column that you need to clean.
The only considerations special to µ packings is you need better sample filtration (0.22µ instead of 0.45µ) and you need to anticipate higher back pressures.0
