What and how can i correct Sample Valve home H/W fault on an Acquity SM when it powers on

  • I'd be inclined to check with my local field service engineer on that.
    My guess would be that something has salted out in it and it can't move. Flushing it with warm water may help. If that is not it, it could be that the faces of the rotor and stator have polished each other to the point that the motor that moves things can no longer overcome the friction. In this case, either replace the moving part (stator face) - if possible, or the entire valve if it is like what's found in FTNs. It could also be an electronic issue with the board that provides power to the valve motor.
