Firmware version

Hi,

We need to do an Empower server upgrade from 2008 to 2012. We have a Agilent 1200 under Empower control. I need to find the firmware version of the system. Where can I find this?

Absent a Gameboy, there is a program available on the Agilent website for updating firmware, setting IP addresses etc. for 12xx series LC components. I usually run that from the LACE for IP assignments and firmware checking. Once the firmware checks out as being compatible with the ICF version and Empower version, I install ICF in Empower and add the system after that.
Check your Empower and ICF support documentation to make sure they're mutually compatible before installing.

I usually attach the gameboy controller to the system. This allows more local functions than the ICS provides.
