FTN: String?

Having issues restarting a dried out ACQ H class. It's throwing degasser hardware faults, presumably because there's no MP in the QSM (yet).
I'm also seeing FTN: String errors.
Are these related??

Hi Dan,

You may be experiencing two separate issues.  The "String" error is a communication issue.  Take a look at this article in the Knowledge base:

Your degasser may failing because it is dry  The degasser needs the resistance of solvent to achieve vacuum.  Try priming for at least 4 minutes per line, then cycle the power.
