Empower 3 on Red Hat Linux

Has anyone deployed a large Empower 3 system where the Oracle database is on Red Hat Linux?  If so, how is the performance as compared to a Windows Oracle(if you moved to Linux) or share any pros/cons so far.

    The consideration we had back when we upgraded from Emp2 to Emp3 was that with a Windows server, Oracle licenses are included from Waters/Empower.  We were informed that if we installed on Linux that we would have to obtain/manage the licenses which then is a cost above that of Empower itself.  IT really wanted us to install on Linux, but this was the deal breaker so we installed on Windows as a result.

    So, if that is still accurate, that would be a con for most.
