PDA Settings - Interpolate & Blocking Filter (below 210 nm)
Can anyone tell me what these settings specifically do? I've tried the PDA manuals, Empower help and even Google but still can't find either a suitable explanation.

Hi Rob,
When the Use UV blocking filter (below 210 nm) check box in the inlet method (MassLynx) or instrument method (Empowe) of the ACQUITY PDA is selected, a UV blocking filter moves into the light beam path to remove light with wavelengths shorter than 210 nm from entering the flow cell.
This feature may be beneficial for solvents with a high UV cutoff. The user manual includes a table for UV cutoffs for common solvents.
