Do you have a protocol for cleaning of system tubings

  • Waters does have a protocol for a system flush which washes all of the system tubing.  It is a four-part solution (25% each of the following : Metahnol, UP water, isopropanol, and acetonitrile).  For the specific protocol and method, your local Waters representative should be able to provide it.  It is a quite simple process and very effective- since we implemented a rotation of regular system flushes, we have seen a significant decrease in overall system problems.  There is also a phosphoric acid system flush more more intensive system cleaning.
