Tool to maintain archived projects in SDMS

<p>Hello,</p><p></p><p>I understand that SDMS will archive project whenever it's updated, and it will stored in SDMS accumulatively.</p><p>I want to know if there is a tool that I can set to maintain the last 3 copies of archived projects.  Or else it</p><p>will be labor intensive to go through system to clean outdated archived projects. </p>

    Hello Richard,

    yes, such a tool exists, called "Doublicate Records Service".

    It can be configured to save only the latest 3 copies of the project in SDMS

    but has further functionalities that might be useful for you.

    I would suggest that you contact SDMS Help Desk to give you further information.

    Can I get it through internal channel?  Also, what is the part number if I

    need to place an order?

    Depending on your location either US (America and Asia) or European Support (Europe and India) team is responsible.

    There is no part number for this tool.

    Waters Service will install and configure the tool and also train you how to use it.

    Normally, all of this is covered by Service (that you need to order).

    Helpdesk will forward all information to the responsible Sales representative.

    Required on your site is SDMS 7.1 SR-x and a toolkit license (that you might have already)
