  • Hi

We'd like to know the revision of Xcalibur and the revision of the Waters System Driver (from help, about, in the console page).

We have seen that message when opening Xcalibur if LC Devices is loaded but the System Driver isn't there, or is an incompatible version, or has a problem and should be removed and reloaded.

  • Hi Liz

    We are operating
    Xcalibur 2.1
    with Waters Acquity Control 2.2.1

    and ICOP 1.30

The system was originally setup by a Thermo technician in close contact to Waters and our IT departement.

We are planning to reinstall the software on Monday.

    many thanks

  • Hi again

Additionally the concole is not working.

Starting the console we get the error message:
"cannot connect to instrument. Console exiting."

In the mean time we restarted to UPLC as well as the PC and the Orbitrap several times.

    Many thanks

    Stefan
