Acquity UPLC SQD Site Installation

The Acquity UPLC SQD & Rough Pump require 220 V. Our electricians were not able to find a local supplier for the 220 V NEMA L6-15R, 15 A receptacle. Can they change the plug to another locking type NEMA L7-15?

  • Hi there,

I have asked our global services organisation, and provided that the different type of plug is rated to take the same or greater current than the NEMA L6-15R then you should have no problems doing so.

    Thanks and all the best,

    Ed

  • According to our Manchester PM...

It shouldn't be a problem as long as the new plug is rated to take the same or greater current
