WFC III communications for Threshold triggered collections under Empower control

I have a Waters Fraction Collector III under control by Empower 2 FR5.  The other components of my system are an Alliance 2695 and a 2487 Dual Wavelength detector.  Is it possible to trigger fraction collection based directly on UV threshold (and NOT based on analog chromatogram sent from detector to fraction collector)?  If so, what are the detailed cablings required between modules?  Are there any timed events needed for the modules in the software that need to be considered?

    You have to use the analog detector output to collect thresholded fractions.
