Hi

How do I prepare a custom field that calculate the injection volume?

There is calculation factor that is used.

The formula is :

injection volume= 7.5/x

x= protein concentration

If the value <= 9.49 the volume has to be multiplied by 2.

if the value is >= 9.51 the value is remained.

How do I get the value into injection volume column in the Sample Set?

We use Empower 3 FR1 Enterprise.

    Can you not just run all of one type on concentration samples together that way you just input the right value for injection volume at sample set preparation?

    Though the custom fields could be worked out, there is no way for Empower to shove a value into injection volume of the sample set method as it is a keyboard input field.
