Removing "V" vial positions

On some Waters UPLC systems, vial positions V1-4 are automatically the first to get selected in the Empower Run Samples window (AnsI482mlVialHolder being the plate).

Is there a way to remove those permanently or do I have to delete them every time?

    Hi David,
    Great question.

    There doesn't seem to be a way to do that now.

    I would suggest calling the Waters service desk about it.  When that is done, if the problem can't be solved, it goes into a log of future improvements and updates.

    Excuse my curiosity but how do you make a plate type default? Is that per HPLC system or per project setting?

    Correct me if I am wrong but I think that's a per-user setting.
