A1100 instrument failure

Hi, 

we got an instrument failure while running a sample set. There was no clue found in message center,recovery log, event logs etc. we have found below message in waters logging. Could you please let me know what this error means ?

A1100 iInstrument->GetConfiguration COM Failure hr=-2147467259

    Are you running an Agilent 1100 system with Empower?  Also which version of Empower?

    It looks like a message sent from the Agilent Instrument which is created by the Agilent driver, which is written by Agilent. You might find they have the answer.
